About the WICE Project
The WICE project is a pioneering initiative by the Clinical Engineering Division, dedicated to showcasing and enhancing the contributions of women in clinical engineering.
Our mission is to analyze and promote female participation in this vital field, recognize the achievements of women engineers, and inspire future generations to pursue careers in clinical engineering. By spotlighting the work of women, we aim to foster a more inclusive and diverse community within the industry.
The Women in Clinical Engineering project aims to empower and support women in this vital field by creating a platform for networking, mentorship, and professional development. By highlighting the achievements of female clinical engineers and addressing the unique challenges they face, we hope to inspire the next generation of women to pursue careers in clinical engineering. Celebrating women’s contribution through photography.
This initiative seeks to give women clinical engineers global exposition through photographs that will be part of the IFMBE-CED WICE collection and will be shown on the virtual gallery webpage. We aim for people to see and understand the clinical engineering profession around the world and acknowledge women’s contributions, actions, and global efforts. We aim for young girls to get inspired and develop a career in the clinical engineering field, as well as encourage young CE careers.
