Preparing for Global CE Day 2020

Global CE Day Celebration (this year on October 25th) is just around the corner, and if you haven't had the chance to gather evidence and content that shows your advancements and milestones for this celebration, here are some tips that can help you out.

Get In Touch With Your National CE Society

Global CE Day is all about unity and recognition. IFMBE CED is currently working with 100+ national societies to bring you new opportunities to grow as a CE Professional. Your local CE Society might already be planning a celebration for this great day, so getting in touch with them can contribute to send a unified message to the whole world on how important our role is in healthcare.

Submit a Presentation with a Summary of your Work

Sure, a lot has happened over the year, but registering and communicating your success stories is vital for our worldwide community! Send us a presentation that describes your work and include pictures that can inspire others to thrive in their work. Send your presentations to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. and we'll publish your accomplishments on the Global CE Day website.

Send us a Video Highlighting your CE/HTM Collaboration

Promoting your stories of collaboration in healthcare will make a huge difference in evangelizing others on Clinical Engineering. If you have the time and resources, shoot some testimonies of you and your team where you describe the work you've done and how it contributes to our worldwide mission. It doesn't have to be a professional video, your cellphone will work just fine in getting the word out there! Please send your video via wetransfer.com to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. and we'll publish it on the Global CE Day website.

Create an Infographic that Describes CE's Value Proposition

Addressing other healthcare professionals, such as doctors, nurses and hospital stakeholders is very important for us. Infographics graphically highlight key components that integrate a major concept, so this is a great way to communicate what we do as professionals and how we help in the healthcare process. There are tons of free online tools that can help you with this, such as Canva, so if you have the time and want to get creative, send us your infographic via email to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. and we'll post in on our social media and the Global CE Day website.

Join the Global CE Day Livestream

On Global CE Day, we'll be broadcasting live to recognize the work of Clinical Engineers around the globe. We'll bring you more information on how you can join the live stream and feel proud of the work your team and others have done in benefit of patients all over the world, so stay tuned to our social media channels for more information. A big announcement of this year's Global CE-HTM awards will take place during the broadcast.
